Just a brief update to try and keep you all informed as to where we are with regards opening.
We are currently working extremely hard to try and reopen within the next 2-3 weeks, however as you have probably heard, the news that we were allowed to reopen on the 8th June came as a shock to dentists who were planning for a phased and gradual reopening of general dental practice as previous guidance had suggested. Our current issues are sourcing the adequate PPE required for re-opening and putting into place all the enhanced protocols and procedures that will be required. New social distancing measures and even more stringent cross infection protocols will also mean that unfortunately in the initial phase of reopening we will only be able to offer a limited number of treatments and the amount of patients seen each day will be severely restricted.
However, if you have contacted the practice throughout Lockdown with an urgent problem you will be on our priority list to offer you an appointment as soon as we are able. We will be in touch as soon as we feel in a position to safely welcome our patients back. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things may have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your dental health and your safety.
Hope this finds you all well and we hope to see you very soon
Stay safe and as usual we thank you for all your support and patience
